My Passion

My interest in life I can say is travelling and photo taking. I did a lot of travelling, with friends and also family around the world. It feels different travelling with parents cause you don't have to worry about budget constrain and everything is well prepared. Friends in the other hand, is adventurous! Our plan is NO PLAN! We plan our destinations on the spot and it's challenging as we have to learn foreign language to the people who could hardly understands English.

I've always wanted to blog about my travelling trips but end up procrastinating then I gave up at last. Thanks to web programming course I took this year I get to start blogging about it now. =)

Here are pictures I took from my recent trip to Burma, also known as Myanmar. It's official name is Republic of the Union of Myanmar, commonly shortened to Myanmar. Burma is surrounded by Thailand, China, India, Laos and Bangladesh with hot and damp weather all year round which is similar to the weather in Malaysia. Despite the small country, it is populated with over 60 million citizens which makes Burma the 24th world's most populous country.

The place I visited in Burma is Yangon, which is the city of Burma. Although Burma is a big country but their main attractions are located far away from each other. Buddhism are the main religion in Burma thus the main attractions are Buddhist temple related. The Shwegadon Pagoda, located in Yangon is one of the oldest pagoda in the world which existed for over 2,600 years.

The pagoda looked extremely stunning and spectacular during the night. The building when penetrated by beam of yellow lights looked as if they were made of gold, shining through the city of Burma.

The country Burma is natural resources rich country, with fertilized soil and also precious gem stones such as ruby, sapphire, jade and pearls. Fruits and vegetables harvest from their soil are juicier and bigger than what we have in Malaysia. Plantations in Burma is implement by utilizing the most urban ways (as seen as the picture below).

Ruby, sapphire, jade and pearls are sold in market place as they were found in bulk. They were all sold in USD ranged $30-thousands. The stones can be bought raw or ready made into rings, earrings, bracelet or necklace.
